Location & Work Arrangement
- Location: Lansing, Michigan
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Required to work on-site 2 days a week, typically Monday/Tuesday).
- Contract: This is a Contract position.
- Mode of Interview: Virtual Interview via MS Teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Act as a team lead to coordinate complex GIS projects involving multiple state agencies and enterprise solutions.
- Implementation Management: Coordinate the successful implementation of Esri GIS server software and desktop applications, including establishing project timelines and identifying necessary resource needs.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the primary liaison between the Geospatial Services team, state agencies, vendors, and other subject matter experts.
- Requirements & Planning: Gather requirements and priorities directly from state agency GIS stakeholders.
- Operational Support: Oversee day-to-day operational tasks, continual upgrades, and maintenance of large, enterprise GIS systems.
- Guidance: Provide guidance in the coordination of Esri GIS software deployments, upgrades, and data integrations.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Geospatial Experience: A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Geographical Information Systems (GIS), with hands-on experience using Esri GIS software.
- Project Management: A minimum of 3 years of professional experience managing geospatial projects and implementations.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required.
