Job Description:

• 10+ Years of Experience in Ab Initio.
• Extensive experience of Data Integration.
• Control Center, MDH, BRE, DQA, TDM, TF .
• Extensive experience in ETL tools in a DB2 environment.
• Ab Initio, DB2, Team Leadership, Data Integration, Broad experience with the Ab Initio toolset, Version 4.0+ Experience.
• Deep understanding of Ab Initio platform and its ecosystem components includes Operating system, Development Environment, Enterprise Environment.
• In depth Knowledge on Ab Initio ETL tool and widely used components reformat, rollup, scan, join, normalize, sort, sort within groups, dedup sort, read/write multi files, read/write json, input/output table, Create Data.
• Expertise in handling multi file systems and partition, de-partition components.
• Expertise with Ab Initio debugging techniques - watchers, breakpoints and isolate components.
• Good hands on with M commands, AIR commands, PDL, metaprogramming and plans.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Ab Initio applications Development that are capable of processing large sets of structured (flat files, Database, CSV) and semi-structured data (XML, JSON) etc.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, data warehouse concepts and data modelling of star schema and snowflake schema.
• Experience with Big Data/ Hadoop technologies like HDFS, Hive, Impala- Nice to have
• Experience in shell scripting, file handling commands, awk and sed and good exposer in writing automations with shell scripting.
