Job Details

Our direct client is seeking one full-time contract resource (40 hours / week) Mitel telephone engineer to provide Mitel-related assistance. The resource is needed to assist the Unified Communications and Collaboration team with a Mitel Voice migration, upgrade, and support.

  • Configure Mitel phones
  • Configure Mitel Ignite call center software
  • Make Mitel phone changes as tickets come in
  • Deploy Mitel phones to all sites
  • Troubleshoot Mitel phone issues
  • Adjust hunt groups
  • Assign new phone numbers
  • Support Mitel voice mail server
  • Troubleshoot daily issues that arise on Mitel phone system
  • E911 testing
  • Configuring MS Teams soft phones
  • Provide knowledge transfer to Met Council staff
Minimum Qualifications
  • Five (5) years experience as a Mitel certified telephone engineer
  • Two (2) engagements lasting more than six (6) months as a Mitel professional

  • Mitel Ignite call center certified
  • Mitel certified on MiVoice Business platform
  • Mitel certified on MiCollab platform
  • Mitel Certified on MiVoice Platform
  • Mitel experience with NuPoint voice mail server
  • Mitel experience on MiVoice Border Gateway
  • Mitel experience with Interactive call recording
  • Mitel experience with reporting features
  • Microsoft Teams telephone experience
