Job Title: Senior Capture Manager (Federal Projects) Location: Herndon, VA (Hybrid - 3 days in office)
About the Role:
Sky Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Capture Manager to drive growth within our federal portfolio. This role is ideal for a capture leader who has successfully scaled organizations and thrives in shaping and winning strategic opportunities across civilian agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end capture lifecycle: pipeline development, client engagement, competitive analysis, teaming, pricing, and hand-off to proposals.
- Shape winning strategies and secure major programs within Client, HHS, IRS, DOJ, and other civilian agencies.
- Build strong relationships with government stakeholders, industry partners, and teaming organizations.
- Leverage tools such as GovWin, SAM.gov, FPDS to identify, qualify, and pursue opportunities.
- Partner with executives and delivery leaders to align capture strategy with corporate goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience growing federal business portfolios from ~$20M to $100M (or greater).
- 5 8+ years of capture management or business development in federal contracting.
- Strong track record of winning large-scale prime contracts ($25M $100M+).
- Deep understanding of federal acquisition strategies, GWACs, IDIQs, BPAs, and FAR/DFARS.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Passion for delivering innovative solutions in digital transformation, AI, cybersecurity, and low-code/no-code platforms.
