Job Title: Automotive Functional Consultant Automotive Aftersales & Services
Work Location: Newark, California (Onsite 5 days a week from office)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced functional consultant with a thorough understanding of the Dealer Management Systems for Automotive / Industrial / Heavy Equipment sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Functional Consulting: Lead the process cataloguing and functional design for next generation aftersales and service systems for a leading EV manufacturer.
  • Should have implemented at least one or more E2E Dealer Management Systems including in-depth understanding of functional modules such as Sales, Inventory Management, Parts & Service Management, Warranty, Integrated Accounting, CRM etc.
  • Strong understanding of high-voltage safety, battery diagnostics, and EV service tools would be an added advantage.
  • Should be able to drive workshops with business stakeholders, articulate requirements and build user stories for product backlog creation.
  • Create detailed user stories for the technical team and take accountability for clarity and consistency.
  • Drive user demos and coach the business team for conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Should have full implementation lifecycle experience in Agile methodology (2 or more programs).
  • Should be able to work effectively with the technical team to ensure delivery timelines, quality & schedule are met.
  • Should have worked in a multi-vendor / stakeholder environment and has managed multi-workstream complex programs with minimum foresight.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Science, Statistics or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in the automotive / industrial / heavy equipment domain or relevant consulting experience in these industries.
  • Experience with Agile Project Management tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and present complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • This is a Hybrid Role and expectation is to be available in the client office for 2 or more days per week.
