ASSYST is looking for a Cybersecurity Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Specialist to support a Federal client. The selected candidate will provide essential expertise in implementing, enhancing, and maintaining CDM services and cybersecurity capabilities. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize the use of CDM tools and technologies, strengthening the overall cybersecurity posture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a technical authority in all matters related to Continuous Diagnostics & Mitigation (CDM) services and capabilities.
- Provide expert insights on the selection, deployment, and configuration of CDM tools and technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements for CDM services and ensure alignment with security objectives.
- Assess and evaluate the organization's cybersecurity needs and recommend appropriate CDM solutions.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in cybersecurity and CDM, adapting strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with project teams to plan, execute, and monitor CDM-related initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Assist in evaluating emerging technologies and their potential impact on CDM capabilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with a focus on CDM.
- Leadership experience in guiding teams toward successful CDM implementations.
- Proven experience in serving as a technical authority in Continuous Diagnostics & Mitigation (CDM) services.
- Demonstrated expertise in selecting, deploying, and configuring CDM tools and technologies.
- Ability to adapt to changing cybersecurity landscapes and emerging threats.
- Continuous learning and commitment to staying updated on the latest cybersecurity developments.
