As a Strategic Data Insights Analyst you ll serve as a key partner in evolving our analytics and business intelligence capabilities. Working closely with cross-functional teams and leadership, you will design and deliver data-driven solutions that improve decision-making, optimize performance, and create tangible value across the organization. This role blends technical expertise with business acumen, requiring a hands-on contributor who can both generate insights and guide others in understanding and applying them.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Analytics Development: Design and build advanced reports, dashboards, scorecards, and predictive models using modern data visualization and analytics tools.
  • Data Consultation: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand needs, and translate them into actionable analytics solutions.
  • Business Partnership: Become a trusted advisor by understanding business processes, data flows, and performance drivers; provide guidance on interpreting and applying insights.
  • Data Stewardship: Lead data validation and standardization efforts; maintain documentation including data definitions, validation checklists, training guides, and glossary terms.
  • Tool Enablement: Conduct workshops and training sessions on analytics platforms and interpretation of results, fostering a culture of data fluency and self-service.
  • Continuous Improvement: Review and refine analytics assets for consistency, usability, and brand alignment; proactively seek stakeholder feedback to improve solutions.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Maintain strong communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency, and trust throughout the analytics lifecycle.

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • 5+ years in business intelligence, reporting, or analytics roles with proven success designing and deploying analytics tools.
  • 3+ years using data modeling and statistical software for predictive or advanced analytics.
  • Strong experience gathering and interpreting requirements from business stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with SQL (3+ years); experience with ETL and APIs is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Deep understanding of data lineage and systems integration in cross-functional environments.

Skills and Attributes

  • Expertise in tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent storytelling ability with data able to present complex findings in a clear, actionable way.
  • Critical thinker with investigative instincts able to identify root causes, outliers, and opportunities from large datasets.
  • Comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
