Location/Division Specific information

Location: US - Massachusetts - Bedford

Hours: Weekdays Monday - Friday

Competitive Payrate: Base Pay + 9% Annual Bonus (performance based)

How will you make an impact...

The Plant Engineer will function as a key member of the maintenance and facilities team in support of continuous improvement of existing procedures and processes. They will support manufacturing processes, control systems, and new product introductions across product lines.

The ideal candidate will have a proven understanding of chemical processes and plant infrastructure such as storage, transfer, and chemical processing systems. The candidate will also have experience with digital controls systems, such as Delta V. Expected to operate both independently and in a team environment.

We are a successful team that supports manufacturing equipment through a preventative and predictive maintenance program, process improvements, and desire to improve!

What will you do...
  • Support existing operations
  • Ability to lead multiple projects/priorities
  • Ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels with internal and external collaborators
  • Proficient in manufacturing processes and various complex mechanical systems
  • May provide off shift support coverage when needed
  • Drive process improvements through data based decision making
  • Project management skills are a must
  • Maintain and update building drawings and equipment P&ID's

How you will get here...

Education:
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical or Mechanical)

Experience:

Experience: 3+ years of experience in manufacturing facility/environment. combined experience and education will be considered

  • Ability to work well in a fast paced environment
  • Follow project plan and understand operations
  • Be able to identify the best path forward
  • Critical thinking
  • Solid works and AutoCAD proficiency is a plus

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $91,700.00-$137,525.00.
