Job Title: Helpdesk Technician Onsite | Contract-to-Hire

Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire (CTH)
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Helpdesk Technician to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis for a client site located in Atlanta, GA (Galleria area). This is a 100% on-site role supporting end-users in a Windows and Microsoft 365 environment. The right candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication, and a solid background in helpdesk support.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Level 1 technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers via phone, email, and in-person.
Troubleshoot issues related to Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and basic networking.
Perform password resets, user account management, and onboarding/offboarding.
Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT personnel with detailed documentation.
Use helpdesk ticketing tools to log, manage, and resolve support tickets.
Install software, perform system updates, and carry out routine maintenance.
Configure and deploy workstations and peripherals for new hires.
Ensure professional, courteous, and timely support to end-users.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in helpdesk or technical support roles.
Proficiency with Windows OS (10/11), Microsoft 365, and basic networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple technical issues effectively.
Capable of lifting and moving IT equipment as needed.
