Job Details

Our client is looking for an HR Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) for a 12+ month ERP project. The project involves replacing legacy systems (Human Resources, Fiscal, Procurement, Grants, Warehouse, Inventory) with a single centralized ERP solution. Focus: Human Resources.
Selected candidate will analyze business processes, document requirements, optimize HR workflows, support data analysis/reporting, and bridge HR and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Study multiple business functions, gather information, evaluate output needs.
  • Record and optimize current HR processes and develop new ones.
  • Manage change management activities.
  • Analyze business/user needs and document requirements.
  • Perform HR data analysis, reporting, process optimization, HR system administration.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on system enhancements.
  • Create/maintain clear documentation, meeting agendas, minutes.
  • Improve operational efficiency and communication across teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of system analysis and project implementation experience.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
  • HR or related experience.
  • Proven experience documenting complex HR processes and improvements.
  • Proficiency with business analysis tools (Microsoft Visio, Lucid Chart, etc.).
  • Skilled in stakeholder interviews, requirement gathering, system specifications, process/data flow diagrams.
  • Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Team collaboration with IT, HR, and project managers.
  • Experience using collaboration/project management software.
  • Present analysis findings effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 8+ years as a BSA focusing on project implementations.
  • Understanding of Agile, Waterfall methodologies.
  • ERP experience (Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of HR processes in ERP systems.
  • Database querying (SQL, Oracle, Crystal Reports).
  • Understanding of SDLC, QA processes, project management, and Jira task tracking.
