Job Title: Vendor Performance & Operations Manager
Location: Mountain View, CA (Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months 
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Vendor Manager to drive operational excellence and vendor performance for Google s Search business. The role requires a strong understanding of end-to-end supplier management, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure quality, scalability, and compliance across vendor engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage vendor performance across assigned projects, ensuring delivery on SLAs, KPIs, and quality standards.
 - Develop and maintain SOPs, process maps, workflows, and training documentation.
 - Oversee invoices, purchase orders (POs), budgets, and forecasting for vendor engagements.
 - Partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement quality improvement strategies and scalable processes.
 - Conduct business reviews summarizing vendor performance and provide strategic feedback.
 - Lead performance management, including quarterly target setting and escalation processes.
 - Optimize capacity management by forecasting labor needs and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
 - Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive training, transition, and quality readiness initiatives.
 
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Business Operations, Vendor Management, or related field.
 - Proven success managing vendors in tech, content moderation, or large-scale operations environments.
 - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
 - Excellent communication and negotiation abilities with external partners.
 - Proficiency in vendor performance metrics, process improvement, and budget tracking.
 
Preferred Skills
- Experience with capacity planning, SLA tracking, and performance analytics.
 - Solid understanding of business operations, stakeholder management, and consultative vendor engagement.
