Join our dynamic team as a Sr. IT Analyst and contribute to innovative IT automation projects from the comfort of your home. This role offers the chance to harness your skills in Python and Jira API to enhance our ticket management processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute automation scripts using Python to streamline Jira ticket management.
  • Collaborate with various teams to gather requirements and implement effective automation solutions.
  • Manage and oversee ticketing processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in opening, linking, and closing tickets.
  • Conduct validation checks to maintain the reliability of automation tasks.
  • Document processes and provide training on new automation tools and procedures.

Skills

  • Expertise in Python programming and JSON data handling.
  • Solid understanding of Jira API functionalities.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team in a remote setting.
  • Effective communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with automation frameworks and tools.
  • Knowledge of IT security practices and principles.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools.
