We are looking for an Air and Missile Defense (AMD) TIS SW Development Team Product Owner (PO) to join our team as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office. The PO will be responsible for the prioritization and validation of the development software for the TIS team. The TIS team is responsible for the identification and classification of tracks in the C2 (Command and Control) software.

Your day-to-day work will include:
- Reviewing and understanding Systems Engineering concepts, designs, and algorithms, and providing guidance to the development team.
- Working with Program management in setting priorities for the capabilities and defects of the team for each product increment and sprint
- Technical briefings and advisement to leadership on the status and recommended courses of action, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts on the IFMC mission
- Other duties as assigned.
At a minimum you should have:
- Bachelor's degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences or mathematics.
- A good understanding of CID (Classification, Identification, and Discrimination) used in C2 systems, including IFF, ADS-B, Air Tasking Orders, and NCTR.
- the ability to provide oversight to the development team and verify the team's work based on agreed-upon acceptance criteria, including attending code reviews.
- Be able to work directly with the Agile software developers.
- Fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset.
- Minimum of 7 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above
You will be highly desirable if you have:
- Knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS, and familiarity with current CID measures in one or more of the DoD services preferred.
- Prior Product Owner experience on a SCRUM team is a plus.
- The ability to "move out" and champion your ideas, architectures, designs, enthusiasm, independent critical thinking, and a team attitude are very important.
- Experience in JIRA/Confluence is a plus.
- Possessing an Agilist Certification is an additional plus.
