Job Description:
- We are seeking a skilled J.D. Edwards OneWorld Technical Consultant with strong AS/400 (IBM iSeries) expertise to support the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise resource planning (ERP) environment.
- This role involves working on requirement analysis and design of JDE applications and custom interfaces.
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AS400 language and JDE development tools like RPG, COBOL, SQL/400, and be capable of designing and delivering integrated solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of J.D. Edwards OneWorld components, including custom applications, reports, business functions, and interfaces using OMW, FDA, RDA, and NER.
- Analyse functional requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications and solutions.
- Understand custom programs written in RPG, COBOL, and SQL/400 to support system integration and data exchange with external applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and estimate effort for new enhancements or system modifications.
- Deliver accurate effort estimations, design documents, and technical solutions aligned with project timelines and business goals.
