Description
We are looking for an experienced Project/Program Manager to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Seattle, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the successful execution of projects and programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. You will oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning and coordination to monitoring progress and delivering results.
Responsibilities:
Lead the coordination and execution of projects, ensuring goals and deadlines are met.
Develop project plans and assign responsibilities to team members while monitoring their progress.
Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of product development initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
Manage relationships with external vendors and stakeholders to support project success.
Prepare comprehensive reports and updates for senior management on project status.
Utilize tools such as Smartsheet, Asana, and Microsoft Project to track and manage project activities.
Apply creative problem-solving and decision-making to address project challenges.
Direct and guide team members, leveraging leadership skills to drive productivity.
Ensure adherence to best practices and established procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
4-7 years of proven experience in project management or a related area.
Strong understanding of product development and lifecycle management.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and departments.
Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Asana, and Microsoft Project.
Familiarity with retail environments or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries is preferred.
Vendor management experience, including working with external stakeholders.
Previous experience with Amazon systems is a plus but not required.
