Position Overview
As an SSD RMA Engineer, you will lead failure analysis efforts on returned SSDs, identifying root causes and driving corrective actions. This role combines hands-on technical investigation with cross-functional collaboration and customer-facing support.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$77,500.00 - $161,500.00

Position Overview
As an SSD RMA Engineer, you will lead failure analysis efforts on returned SSDs, identifying root causes and driving corrective actions. This role combines hands-on technical investigation with cross-functional collaboration and customer-facing support.
Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical and mechanical failure analysis on returned SSDs.
- Generate and deliver detailed failure analysis reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead escalated RMA cases, ensuring timely updates and resolution.
- Set up and manage debug systems for error replication and Design of Experiments (DOE).
- Provide technical consultation to customer-facing teams based on data-driven insights.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electronics, Computer, or Systems Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product engineering, validation, or quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of SSD architecture and NAND flash memory operations.
- Proven experience in system-level testing and failure analysis.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the storage industry and customer-facing technical roles.
- Familiarity with PCIe, SATA, and bus tracing tools for debugging.
- Strong time management and project coordination skills.
- Self-motivated with a passion for technical growth.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
