Endpoint Security Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
A client with Kforce is seeking a Senior Endpoint Engineer to join their team in Cincinnati, OH. This role is a hybrid position, with 2 days in office required.

Responsibilities:
* Supports the deployment of endpoint security tools across the Worldpay environment
* Provides staff augmentation to provide support to the newly deployed/migrated security agent solutions
* Resolves and/or performs follow through to resolve all information security issues and questions
* Implements and administers information security controls using software and vendor security systems
* Ensures coverage of security agents, and resolving technical issues in deployment, or health of agents working with system owners
* Provides support to Worldpayers to resolve issues with agents
* Contributes to the tuning of false positives / negatives and development of configured security policies
* Updates security agents to resolve functional bugs and coordinating change requests
* Operates security processes wrapped around security agent deployments
* Deploys new security tools across both servers and user workstations
* Replaces existing client security tools with Worldpay's security suite
* Collaborates with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and ensure agents report properly to the cloud console
* Proactively identifies and resolves any technical issues related to the new security tools

REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience with deploying, managing and troubleshooting endpoint security agents
* System administration skills and working knowledge on Windows, Linux and Mac
* Hands-on experience in at least two of the following solutions Crowdstrike EDR, Proofpoint DLP, ThreatLocker
* Strong analysis skills including correlating multiple sources of data, host or network based log analysis
* Ability to communicate and collaborate with peers and other technology partners
* Experience with BigFix or other deployment mechanisms or platforms (this is optional)

Experience with:
* ThreatLocker
* CrowdStrike
* Proofpoint DLP

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
