Role: Exchange Engineer

Type: Contract to Hire (6-9 months contracting)

Location: 3 days a week in FTL (tues-thurs) 1600 SE 17^th St Fort Lauderdale, FL.

They will be moving their office to doral in the next couple of years so want the candidates to be aware of that.

Notes:

• hands on experience for exchange/on prem
• Team lead for two parts of IT infrastructure SCCM (application for updates/applications) and email, they are building this team currently,
• They will be adding two engineers to each team by the end of the year (2 for email, 2 for SCCM)
• Contractor now who is doing SCCM is our consultant KoKo
• 80% of their users are on cloud, bulk of work for email engineer is to take care of systems on the ship. Single exchange server, couple hundred servers, every year or 1.5 year they must do a whole upgrade for the fleet which is coming up now, so they need more hands asap.
• Responsible for all the mailboxes in the company is office365
• Need to be knowledgeable about the office365 suite
• 7+ years of experience managing Microsoft Exchange environments (on-premises and cloud-based).
• 7+ years supporting Active Directory and related technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server (2019) and Exchange Online.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks.
• Knowledge of email security best practices and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Anyone with experience with Change servers 2016 2019 can take on this task (cruise isn't a dealbreaker), active directory
• Ideally someone with experience working with global teams
• No travel, conventional hybrid model
• They haven t found enough people with hands on experience for exchange/on prem from the comp
• Will be required to be on call at times (manager has been there 4 months and has had to do it twice so far)
