Description: Our client is currently seeking a Mid-Sr level Telecommunications Engineer
All candidates must currently be on site 3 days a week in Providence RI
This person would be responsible for system management, engineering, design, administration and maintenance of digital voice, VoIP-UC network communications systems, ensuring consistent, reliable, and uninterrupted service.

This person would be responsible for system management, engineering, design, administration and maintenance of digital voice, VoIP-UC network communications systems, ensuring consistent, reliable, and uninterrupted service.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience with VoIP telephone systems, voice mail systems, access/carrier systems and related power plants, including in-depth working knowledge of VoIP-UC communications networks preferred.
- Some experience with vendor management for reviewing quotes, proposals and contracts for accuracy.
- Some experience developing project proposals and managing small projects to completion
- Some experience working within a change management system to communicate and coordinate changes with others that may impact successful outcomes when performing upgrades or other changes.
- Experience in Cisco VoIP-UC networking technology preferred
- Familiarity with Cisco IOS, CUBE, Webex calling, Expressway C/E, jabber
- Familiarity with Linux/Shell and virtual machine environments.
- VoIP-UC certifications preferred.
