Position Summary

In our role as a Senior Infra Engineer, you'll be responsible driving safe and efficient operations of the Analysis Lab. Serving as a primary liaison for equipment installations, you'll also align internal teams and vendors to meet strict safety, 5S, and contract compliance standards while maintaining auditable records of all maintenance activities. You'll also Conduct regular vendor performance reviews, and provides strategic feedback to management to ensure optimal lab uptime and cost efficiency; as well as develop comprehensive work guides and training for non-contracted lab equipment maintenance. Owns DX initiatives that drive continual improvement in cost tracking, maintenance history, and service-request workflows.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Ensures Equipment Installations stay on schedule, coordinates install team & vendor install activity
  • Ensures Lab Construction Plans align with Vendor Install Guidelines.
  • Ensures vendors fulfilling lab equipment service contract terms, understands all contract obligations.
  • Gathers feedback from tool users on the quality of vendor service, provides annual feedback summary to Procurement.
  • Ensures all lab equipment receiving Quarterly / Annual PMs, maintains auditable records for all service activity.
  • Creates Work Guides for Lab Eqp Maint Activity not covered by Vendors, trains tool users as necessary.
  • Ensures Lab Equipment follows Samsung 5S and Safety procols with Bi-Weekly & Quarterly Walk Throughs
  • Ensures Lab Equipment Inventory & Consumables are properly stored, audited & ordered.
  • Ensures, Creates, Audits all Lab Equipment Shut Off Procedures & Emergency Contacts

Skills and Qualifications

  • Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in facilities, mechanical systems, and / or Hands-on experience on semiconductor lab equipment highly desired
  • Previous infra experience is preferred
  • Experience with KTA & 5D is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills are required to effectively communicate technical content to various organizations.

The current base salary range for this role is between $69,070 and $156,950 Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
