Job Details

This is 100% onsite work position based in Tallahassee, FL. Apply only if you are willing to relocate.

Education: Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other Information
Technology major, or equivalent work experience

Required Experience:
10+ years experience SQL Database Analyst.
Demonstrated effective writing and documentation skills.
Skill in SQL Server database administration
Skill in working in Windows operating systems
Skill as a SQL developer and SQL Server Management Studio tools
Skill in creating stored procedures, views, and functions
Skill in supporting SQL Server data replication, high availability, and validation
Skill with SQL Server software installation, patching, and upgrading.
Ability to work independently and to resolve complex issues
Ability to effectively diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex problems pertaining to
server and data infrastructure
Ability to write T- SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, and Database Triggers
Ability to Tune SQL and T-SQL queries for performance, index maintenance and
implementation, and proactively identify performance bottlenecks while providing
sound solutions
Operational support skills, including experience with system installations,
troubleshooting, migrations and upgrades
Knowledge of Windows and PowerShell scripting
Skill in logical and physical database design and data models
Knowledge of the software development lifecycle process
Practical experience in monitoring and tuning databases to provide a high availability
service
Ability to maintain currency on tools, methodologies, and technologies related to data
administration
Knowledge of data privacy and protection initiatives
Strong database security administration skills
Strong interpersonal skills to resolve problems in a professional manner Ability to effectively communicate technical data processing information verbally and
in writing
Knowledge of SQL Server backup/recovery technologies and processes
Knowledge of SQL Server Replication practices and processes
Knowledge of SQL Server Clusters and Failover (AG clusters and regular Failover
clusters) methodologies
System/Application/Database development, design and/or administration
Developing in T-SQL or PL/SQL languages
Assisting application/web development teams and business area customers in the
design, deployment, and development of solutions
