Job Details

Position: MongoDB Production Support Engineer
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)
Duration: 6+ months
Key Responsibilities:

  • Support MongoDB databases and Java applications in production.

  • Run queries, manage indexes, and perform updates in MongoDB.

  • Troubleshoot production issues across databases and apps.

  • Assist with production releases using Bash and Python.

  • Work closely with Dev and Ops teams to ensure system stability.

  • Monitor performance and optimize queries proactively.

Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB (queries, indexing, updates).

  • Solid Java application support/debugging skills.

  • Proficient in Bash/Python scripting for automation and deployments.

  • Excellent troubleshooting in live environments.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
