Description

We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in San Francisco, California. This role requires an analytical mindset and the ability to transform data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders while balancing hands-on data tasks and reporting responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and reporting solutions to meet business needs.
Create and manage Looker dashboards to provide stakeholders with accurate and timely insights.
Investigate data trends and anomalies to support operational, business, and client requirements.
Manage and prioritize incoming tasks in a sprint-based environment to ensure timely delivery.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements, define timelines, and align deliverables.
Deliver ongoing analytics and reporting support using tools such as Looker and Tableau.
Maintain a balance between stakeholder engagement and hands-on data analysis responsibilities.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity while handling large datasets and creating impactful visualizations.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Engineer, or Data Engineer.
Proficiency in creating dashboards and handling analytics workflows using tools like Looker and Tableau.
Strong ability to write and execute SQL queries for data analysis.
Familiarity with Microsoft SQL and advanced data analysis techniques.
Experience supporting analytics use cases for internal or client-facing projects.
Hands-on experience working in agile or sprint-based team environments.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to independently manage timelines and priorities.
