Job Title: SAP FICO Consultant

Location: Troy, MI (Onsite Position)

Duration: 10 Months

FICO Functional Team Member is responsible for the execution of the detail design and configuration of the current business processes in SAP's ECC6 ERP and SAP S/4 HANA product. This includes

Working with the Process Team Lead in the analysis and decomposition of current business processes, perform the scripting exercises, and design and configure the SAP system to support the organization's "To-Be" process vision. This implies providing design for integration with all other modules of SAP MM, PP, PS, QM, SD

Understanding of SAP Activate framework/methodology

Have experience of conducting Business workshops with Fit/Gap or Fit-to-Standard analysis

Conduct workshops and presentations to validate business design with the user community.

Good understanding of SAP functionality with hand-on standard configuration for the module.

Design of Reports, Interfaces, Conversions Enhancements, Forms and Workflows & identification of Std. Fiori Apps. (RICEFW as part of Fit-Gap Analysis).

Execution of the system unit testing and integration testing. This includes performing the test, making changes in configuration based on results, and error resolution.

Working with the end user documentation team in the identification of business processes and system tasks to be documented as well as providing training to the end user training and development team.

Design Authorization profiles (T-code as well as Fiori)

Provide post-implementation production support.

Knowledge of Change Request and estimation will be preferred.

General skills:
Needs to have Good Oral and written communication; good analytical and problem solving capability; Ready to learn, Ready to work in flexible timing based on customer location overlap, shift timings, flexible to put extra efforts; preferable experience in handling international clients; SAP certification will be preferred; Worked as independent SAP FICO consultant on real life SAP Implementation, Roll-out & Support projects; Should have knowledge of project management methodology, Exposure in S4 HANA Activate methodology.

Job specific

Experience with configuration/Implementation of SAP FI module, and more specifically in

Accounts payable, Accounts receivables,

General Ledger

Taxation

Cash Management,

Assets Accounting,

In-house Bank operations, Interfacing with Bank and reconciliation, Periodic reporting

Very good knowledge of Finance Business processes.

Knowledge of Integration with all other upstream and downstream engineering / automotive industries business processes

Very good understanding of COPA

SAP Competent in FI configuration and New G/L functionalities

Able to handle Costing activities

ICR

Group reporting

At par with S4 HANA FI simplifications.

Technologies Involved

SAP S/4HANA

Exposure to SOLMAN, GRC, FIORI is added advantage.

Business Skills (Most Important Four)
1. Very good knowledge of FI Business processes.

2. Knowledge of Integration with all other upstream and downstream

processes engineering / automotive industries business processes

3. Very good understanding of Business process redesigning concepts

4. Should be able to work independently as FI functional consultant from

day one of the joining the organization
