Helpdesk Administrator

An automation company, in Philadelphia, that works with some of the largest brand names in robotics and fortune 500 companies, is looking to hire a Helpdesk administrator on a contract basis. In this role you will be doing level 1 desktop support in a mixed Windows and Linux environment, setting up new computers, password resets, managing accounts in google suite, and supporting their 30 internal users. The client is looking for someone with a strong technical understanding and able to help users with various needs.

You will be able to gain hands-on experience on the engineering side, and really grow your career/skillset in the tech industry. If you are someone that can wear a bunch of different hats in a new role and be able to really hit the ground running on all things support, then this is the perfect role for you!

Required skills and Experience
  • Desktop support experience - Windows and Linux
  • Level 1 support
  • Password resets
  • Expertise Supporting Google suite
  • New computer set up
  • Experience decommissioning computers
  • Onsite and Remote Support Experience
  • Expertise with Troubleshooting
  • Excellent Communication Skills

Desired skills and Experience
  • Experience in start-up sized companies
  • Strong technical skills - being able to help users on various needs

  • VPN or Network Support Knowledge
  • Any familiarity with Linux - home lab, work experience
