Flight Test Engineer (Associate or Mid-Level)

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Flight Test Engineer to join our test team in the Ground Operations role providing engineering definition, and authorization for airplane configuration changes in support of developmental and certification testing of commercial airplanes and military derivatives.

The team operates primarily out of Boeing Field in Seattle, Washington with some testing in Everett and Renton.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate and Mid-Level Flight Test Engineers.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate across a broad spectrum of individuals and disciplines to meet customer commitments
  • Provide engineering definition and authorization for airplane configuration changes including red label SW
  • Utilize extensive airplane level knowledge to effectively provide engineering support to reconcile airplane discrepancies and support certification efforts
  • Leveraged all of the above engineering domain knowledge to release the airplane for test

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 2+ years of engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Level 3: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in Systems
  • Experience in Avionics
  • Experience with Airplane Level Integration
  • Liaison experience
  • Service experience
  • Experience in Test & Evaluation

Summary Pay Range for Associate level (Level 2): $85,850 - $116,150

Summary Pay Range for Mid-level (Level 3): $102,000 - $138,000
