The Opportunity:

As an Information System Security Officer, you can identify the system security needed to assess vulnerabilities and recommend the best solution and security strategy. We need your experience to oversee the development and implementation of security solutions that will protect our nation's most critical systems.

In this role, you'll use your knowledge and experience to assess security threats and implement infrastructure controls. What You'll Work On:

• Manage infrastructure and cyber security controls, including enhanced detection and vulnerability capabilities and improved event correlation in large enterprises.
• Lead risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas.
• Leverage big data analytics and traditional security event types to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise.

You Have:

• 2+ years of experience with security tools, hardware or sof tware security implementation, communication protocols, or encryption techniques or tools
• Experience with national security information system security requirements
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science field and 10+ years of experience in information system security, or 14+ years of experience in information system security in lieu of a degree
• DoD 8570 IAM Level I Certification

Nice If You Have:

• Experience developing Risk Management products and working through system accreditations
• Experience in interfacing with information assurance managers, including reviewing documentation, systems security plans, risk assessment reports, accreditation packages, and Plan of Action and Milestones
• Experience working with Xacta IA Manager and Risk Management Frameworks
• Experience in the oversight and execution of Assessment and Authorization processes or Certification and Accreditation

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
