Hybrid: PowerApps Developer

Our challenge

We are seeking a skilled PowerApps Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing applications using Microsoft PowerApps, along with a strong understanding of the Microsoft Power Platform including Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translating them into functional applications that streamline processes and improve efficiency.

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Microsoft PowerApps that meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for application functionality.
• Integrate PowerApps with various data sources, including SharePoint, SQL Server, and other third-party services.
• Develop Power Automate workflows to automate business processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Create and maintain documentation for applications, including design specifications, user manuals, and training materials.
• Perform testing and debugging of applications to ensure functionality, performance, and security.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Stay current with Microsoft Power Platform updates and best practices, and recommend improvements and enhancements to existing applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and implementation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8 years of experience in developing applications using Microsoft PowerApps.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse).
• Experience with data integration techniques and connecting PowerApps to various data sources.
• Proficiency in designing user-friendly interfaces and ensuring a positive user experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Office 365 environments is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred, but not required:

• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or other web technologies.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development life cycles.
• Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PowerApps Developer, Microsoft 365 Certified) are a plus
