Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Android Developer with 6 8 years of hands-on expertise in building, optimizing, and deploying mobile applications for the Android platform. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Java/Kotlin, Android SDK, and modern mobile app architectures, with strong problem-solving skills and a proven track record of delivering high-quality applications.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, backend engineers, QA, product managers) to define and deliver new features.

  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Java/Kotlin.

  • Integrate mobile apps with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries/services.

  • Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness across devices and OS versions.

  • Identify and fix bugs, optimize application performance, and enhance reliability.

  • Implement secure coding practices and maintain compliance with data privacy standards.

  • Work with version control (Git) and participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

  • Stay updated with the latest Android trends, frameworks, and tools (Jetpack, Compose, MVVM, etc.).

  • Publish and maintain applications in the Google Play Store.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 6 8 years of professional Android development experience.

  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java with deep understanding of the Android SDK.

  • Experience with Android Jetpack (Room, ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, WorkManager, Compose).

  • Hands-on experience with Material Design principles and responsive UI development.

  • Proficiency in integrating REST APIs, JSON/XML, and third-party SDKs.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.

  • Strong knowledge of mobile app security best practices.

  • Experience with unit testing, UI testing (Espresso, JUnit), and debugging tools.

  • Published apps on the Google Play Store.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) or Flutter.

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Firebase, AWS, Google Cloud Platform) and push notification services.

  • Exposure to e-commerce, fintech, or healthcare domains.
