Role: Project Manager (Design & UI)
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Rate: $42/hour W2
Schedule: Hybrid
Our team supports the design team, which in turn supports the product team within a fast-paced entertainment environment, including devices and web experiences. We’re looking for a Project Manager (PM) who will focus on managing the execution of design and UI projects in an Agile environment. This PM role is less about telecom/design expertise and more about driving projects, ensuring they stay on schedule, and communicating clearly across teams.
This is a great opportunity for someone with 4-5 years of project management experience who has an interest in design. While design experience is not required, familiarity with tools like Jira or CRM systems will be beneficial. You will grow into the role, with the potential for remote work as you become established.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage business projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and meet client needs.
- Create and manage tickets for design resources, track timelines, and ensure deliverables align with bandwidth and priorities.
- Regularly coordinate with hiring managers, design leads, and product teams to establish clear due dates and ensure all project stakeholders are aligned.
- Define project roadmaps, understand and identify effort required, and manage project scope to prevent delays.
- Work within Agile processes, ensuring that projects progress efficiently while adhering to company standards and timelines.
- Manage budgets, resources, and costs associated with design and UI project execution.
- Identify potential risks, manage them proactively, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Regularly report on project progress to senior managers and clients, providing updates on status, challenges, and solutions.
Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of project management experience, preferably in an Agile environment. Experience in design or UI is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, CRM), excellent communication skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with design, product, and senior management teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, stay organized, and manage competing priorities.
