Job Details
A financial services firm has a great opportunity awaiting a new Scrum Master to join their growing team in Charlotte, NC.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Setting: Hybrid (3 days onsite)
- Hours: 8 hours a day - workday starts at 9am
Responsibilities:
- Facilitates the sizing of stories during planning sprints, backlog grooming, and sprint planning sessions for 1-2 teams
- Develops and maintains productive working relationships with business owners, product owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key clients
- Facilitates comprehensive Agile ceremonies with enhanced focus on delivery analytics and cross-team dependencies
- Uses historical velocity and planned velocity data to assist teams with realistic commitments and delivery forecasting
- Utilizes the team definition of done to guide sprint commitments while monitoring broader delivery impacts
- Analyzes delivery patterns, cascade impacts, and cross- functional dependencies across multiple parallel workstreams
- Monitors work progression against planned trajectories, identifying when activities drift off-topic or deviate from delivery goals
- Maintains visibility and coordination across numerous parallel tasks and activities, providing comprehensive status updates to stakeholders
- Develops and maintains advanced reporting dashboards that provide insights into delivery health, team performance, and project risk indicators
- Effectively utilizes progress indicators including burn-down/burn-up charts, velocity trends, and custom delivery analytics
- Designs and implements Python-based automation solutions to streamline business processes and eliminate manual inefficiencies
- Creates and maintains Microsoft Power Automate workflows to connect systems, automate routine tasks, and improve operational efficiency
- Leverages SQL skills to extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources to support decision-making and automated reporting
- Identifies opportunities for process improvement and implements automated solutions that reduce manual effort and increase accuracy
- Collaborates with business teams to integrate automation solutions into existing processes and workflows
Qualifications:
- Programming: Proficiency in Python for business process automation and data analysis
- Automation Platforms: Experience with Microsoft Power Automate, including workflow design and integration
- Database Management: Strong SQL skills for data extraction, analysis, and reporting
- Data Visualization: Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, or similar tools for creating delivery dashboards
- Agile Tools: Expertise in Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar agile project management platforms
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams and provide comprehensive status reporting
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders
