Process Improvement Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Process Improvement Analyst for a remote or onsite (Mountain Time Zone - Onsite Preferred) in Salt Lake City, UT. The contract duration is through September 2026.

Overview:
We are seeking a Process Improvement Analyst to support a large-scale commercial lending transformation project. This role requires an investigative mindset, strong analytical skills, and proven experience in identifying, analyzing, and implementing sustainable business process improvements. You will work closely with a small, focused team of analysts and business partners to drive operational efficiency across banking and lending processes.

Key Responsibilities:
* Document current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
* Partner with business units to design and optimize processes for commercial lending
* Support operational improvement initiatives through analytics, automation, and process redesign
* Collect, analyze, and communicate data findings in both written and verbal form to leadership
* Maintain and enhance process flow charts and related documentation
* Lead and assist with process mapping efforts; Provide training and support to business partners as needed
* Collaborate with other process analysts and project

REQUIREMENTS:
* 2-4+ years of experience in process improvement
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to ask the right questions and dig into complex issues
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience with banking or finance processes (commercial lending strongly preferred)
* Hands-on process improvement experience
* Proficiency with process mapping tools (MS Visio, Blueworks Live strongly preferred)
* Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or Value Stream Mapping methodologies (certification a plus)
* Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO) a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
