Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Teradata Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data warehousing, ETL processes, and SQL development using Teradata. They will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing database solutions to support business intelligence and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Teradata databases and ETL processes.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
- Implement performance tuning strategies to enhance database efficiency.
- Collaborate with data analysts, business teams, and IT stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
- Provide technical documentation and best practices for database management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Teradata development.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, data warehousing concepts, and ETL tools.
- Experience with Teradata utilities (BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, TPT).
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux scripting.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
- Knowledge of BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Exposure to cloud-based data solutions.
