Systems Analyst

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. Role Description: The Systems Analyst must have at least 5+ years of experience. The Analyst ? Systems Analysis position is responsible for working within a small team focused on managing day to day monitoring, data analysis, research and problem solving of a productive level environment centered around relational databases and incoming/outgoing data streams.

Responsibilities:

- Performs trouble shooting on production issues, infrastructure configurations and user related defects, that arise on a day-to-day basis to support the business. This would include a scheduled rotation on weekends for monitoring duties.

- Acts as a resource for completing system configurations such as permissions, security and rules.

- Acts as the first line of contact for production monitoring, data analysis and research and managing daily script/job updates.

- Performs data analysis and documentation of system processes, and data flows.

- Communicates with stakeholders, clients, external vendors and software development team members to support the business needs of our various clients.

Skills:

- Proficient knowledge and practical use of relational databases and data modelling concepts.

- Proficient with data analysis tools such as Oracle SQL Developer.

- Experience with integration analysis tools such as Apigee, Tanzu, Postman.

- Experience with file transfer tools such as MoveIt and WinSCP.

- Familiarity with Oracle Financials platform.

- Use of project management tools such as JIRA.

Education: Bachelor?s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related degree program and minimum 3 years of related work experience.
