Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Vice President to join our Information Technology Risk and Resiliency team supporting State Street Investment Management. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about strengthening our security posture through operational excellence and continuous improvement.
As part of the IT Risk and Resiliency team, you will play a key role in audit and access management, risk mitigation, and cross-functional coordination. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and auditors to ensure compliance with corporate security policies and drive enhancements across the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a liaison between State Street IM personnel and internal/external auditors, fostering strong relationships and ensuring audit readiness.
  • Coordinate the remediation of audit issues and manage related observations.
  • Perform data analysis using Excel, SQL (preferred), and visualization/reporting tools to support audit and IAM activities.
  • Assist in State Street IM's compliance to Identity and Access Management programs, including recertifications and ad hoc queries from end users and corporate partners.
  • Collaborate with business units to identify and implement new or enhanced security risk controls.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and identify creative solutions to mitigate security risks.
  • Share expertise and partner with colleagues to deliver high-quality, timely service.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in information security, audit management, or IAM.
  • Familiarity with financial services and related regulatory environments.
  • Understanding of business concepts such as SDLC, IAM frameworks, and risk/compliance practices.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with SQL and data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Interest in pursuing professional certifications (e.g., CISA) is encouraged.


Salary Range:
$90,000 - $142,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
