Cybersecurity Architect

Description

We are seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Architect to lead the design and implementation of robust security architectures across our enterprise systems. This role requires deep expertise in both network and application security, with a strong focus on proactive threat mitigation, secure design principles, and integration of security into the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement enterprise-wide security architecture strategies that align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct in-depth security assessments using tools and methodologies such as SAST, DAST, and fuzz testing.
• Architect secure network infrastructures, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other perimeter defense mechanisms.
• Define and enforce secure coding standards and application security best practices (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
• Automate security testing and monitoring using Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.
• Provide expert guidance on cloud security and container security strategies.

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience:

• Capable of working onsite full-time in North Dallas, TX.
• 9+ years ofnetworking securityandapplication security.
• Security testing tools and techniquessuch as SAST, DAST, fuzzing.
• Network protocols,firewalls,VPNs,IDS/IPS, and related technologies.
• Application security principlesandsecure development best practices.
• Scripting and automation skills such as Python and Bash
• Ethical Hacking exposure or experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree inComputer Science,Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Relevant Certifications such as CISSP,CEH,OSCP, or equivalent.
• Exposure toDevSecOpsmethodologies andCI/CD integration.
• Cloud platforms(AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Container securitytools and platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
