Primary Location: Dodge Center, MN


V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for an exciting Material Handler for our premier client in Dodge Center, MN.

 

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Six (6) months of applicable position experience.
  • Experience using warehouse technology or electronics.
  • Experience with ship confirming.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Previous experience directly working with material handling equipment (forklift, tugger, etc.), inventory management in a warehouse or manufacturing environment or an evaluated equivalent.
  • Ability to become forklift certified to operate a forklift/tugger to receive and deliver parts safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to an ever-changing environment and processes.

  • Contact with peers and others involving explanation of information (these contacts may be within or outside department or division), and the gathering of information; may include the communication of sensitive or confidential information.

External Contacts:

  • Limited external contact to: gather information, answer queries, or ask assistance.

Communication Skills:

  • Read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Read, analyze and interpret business manuals, technical procedures and/or government regulations.

Decision-Making:

  • Requires minimal decision-making responsibility.

Work Schedule:

  • Routine shift hours. Infrequent overtime, weekend, or shift rotation.
