About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to lead complex technology projects involving application modernization, enterprise system design, and software development. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of project management expertise and technical depth, with experience guiding teams through end-to-end delivery of large-scale initiatives.


Key Responsibilities
  • Own project delivery across multiple workstreams, ensuring on-time, within-budget, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Provide technical leadership on projects involving Java/.NET development, SQL Server, database design, and system architecture.
  • Guide modernization initiatives, including Mainframe migration projects (e.g., Mainframe-to-Java or .net).
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to design scalable, secure, and performant solutions.
  • Define and manage project scope, schedules, risks, and deliverables, using Agile or hybrid methodologies.
  • Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, technology teams, and leadership to ensure alignment.
  • Guide modernization initiatives, including Mainframe migration projects (e.g., Mainframe-to-Java).
  • Conduct architecture reviews, provide technical direction, and support engineering best practices.
  • Manage cross-functional teams (onshore/offshore) and foster collaboration across diverse technology domains.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 10+ years of IT experience, with proven success as a Technical Project Manager.
  • Strong expertise in Java and/or .NET technologies, SQL Server, and system/database design.
  • Experience leading modernization projects, preferably including Mainframe-to-Java migration.
  • Understanding of enterprise architecture, integration patterns, and cloud adoption (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and actionable plans.
  • Exposure to microservices, APIs, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (master's preferred).
  • Project Management certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or CSM are strongly preferred.
  • Additional technical certifications in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform) or enterprise architecture are a plus.
