We are currently seeking a top-notch Senior Python Engineer for a 6-month contract-to-hire position with a FinTech based in Phoenix. Their R&D department, is focused on revolutionizing their approach to innovation in the financial industry. With a strong emphasis on developing new solutions using emerging technologies, their team has already generated over 30 patents and continues to push the boundaries of what's possible.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone with proven expertise in Python, including open-source contributions or demonstrable high-end Python skills. While AI experience is a big plus, it's not a requirement. This role is critical to our team as we work on building core GenAI frameworks, and we need someone who is not only technically proficient but also passionate about innovation and pushing the limits of technology.
**Required Skills & Experience:**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Python development.
- Strong proficiency in Python, with open-source contributions or provable high-end Python skills.
- Experience with AI technologies is a plus.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
-Hybrid in Phoenix 2-3x a week *non-negiotable*
