Description: Job Summary
The Judge Group is seeking an experienced AWS Connect Engineer III for a critical contract-to-hire opportunity in Addison, TX. This role will be instrumental in leading the migration and expansion of a cloud-based contact center platform for a national healthcare provider. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in AWS Connect and related AWS services, along with strong leadership and collaboration skills.

Phase I: Tenant Migration

Description: Job Summary
The Judge Group is seeking an experienced AWS Connect Engineer III for a critical contract-to-hire opportunity in Addison, TX. This role will be instrumental in leading the migration and expansion of a cloud-based contact center platform for a national healthcare provider. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in AWS Connect and related AWS services, along with strong leadership and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities
AWS Connect Architecture & Integration
- Design and deploy scalable, secure, and highly available AWS Connect-based contact center solutions
- Integrate AWS Connect with services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, S3, SNS, and SQS
- Develop custom contact flows, IVRs, queues, and AI-driven routing to enhance customer experience
- Lead cross-functional engineering teams and provide mentorship
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and UX teams to align technical solutions with business goals
- Champion Agile methodologies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and support CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Azure DevOps
- Build and maintain integrations with CRM systems, third-party APIs, and enterprise applications
- Monitor and optimize AWS Connect performance using CloudWatch and real-time metrics
- Implement AWS security best practices and ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, GDPR, and other industry standards
- Lead risk assessments and incident response planning
Phase I: Tenant Migration
- Immediate priority: Lift-and-shift migration of a live AWS Connect platform from a partner-owned AWS tenant to the client's internal AWS environment
- Recreate and validate all contact flows, permissions, integrations, and AWS resources to ensure seamless cutover
- Support knowledge transfer from external teams and document system behavior
- Help build and scale an internal AWS Connect engineering team
- Contribute to chatbot and IVR enhancements using natural language processing and AI/ML services
- Support consolidation of legacy telephony systems into AWS Connect
- Proven experience architecting and deploying AWS Connect solutions
- Strong knowledge of AWS services: Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, ECS, IAM, etc.
- Hands-on development experience in Python, Node.js, C#, or Java
- Experience with Terraform and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies
- AWS Cloud Certifications (strongly preferred)
- Experience with VoIP, SIP, WebRTC, and other contact center technologies
- Background in AI/ML integration for chatbots, speech analytics, and sentiment analysisAWS
