Application Support - Advisor I
What does a successful Application Support - Advisor I do at Fiserv?
As an Application Support - Advisor I, you will require knowledge of Automated Teller Machines (ATM) and the configurations of the local software installed on the predominant ATM vendors in the US to troubleshoot and determine root causes of Terminal or network related issues.
You will support client issues related to ATMs, develop support utilities and applications for managing ATM troubleshooting and monitor performance of the ATMs which Fiserv platforms drive.
This will include addressing client/vendor/internal escalated requests for assistance as well as engaging with implementation and production support teams on the troubleshooting and root cause identification of ATM Related issues.

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey, New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.

What does a successful Application Support - Advisor I do at Fiserv?

You will support client issues related to ATMs, develop support utilities and applications for managing ATM troubleshooting and monitor performance of the ATMs which Fiserv platforms drive.
This will include addressing client/vendor/internal escalated requests for assistance as well as engaging with implementation and production support teams on the troubleshooting and root cause identification of ATM Related issues.
What you will do:
- Research and manage customer related projects and issues
- Perform configuration management tasks
- Participate in projects related to new client conversions to production
- Implement and configure client setup of ATM LU's on Tandem, which meets the clients' requirements
- Support the Applications on Windows and Unix Servers which the team supports
- Perform assigned work through Service Now, Inquiry Point 360 and other workflow tools, while managing project requests within our SLA's
- Troubleshoot complex ATM related issues in our production environment
- Follow standard operation procedures utilizing existing and/or proposed system/application protocols
What you will need to have:
- 6+ years of experience in electronic funds transfer
- 6+ years of experience in ATM functions, configuration, and fault reporting
- 6+ years of experience in Windows and Unix Server administration
- 6+ years of experience in Linux, AIX, JavaScript, Python, Redhat, SQL scripting and Java applications
- 6+ years of experience in Tandem applications, specific to systems troubleshooting within non-production and production multi-tier environments
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and military experience
What would be great to have:
- Ability to analyze of problem trends and develop risk mitigation plans for continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of the following tools, Git, Docker, Azure DevOps
- Experience in financial services/payments domain.
- Understanding of data communications protocols such as TCP/IP
- Ability to work off hours/weekends and 24x7 on-call when required
