Job Summary:

The Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the Microsoft 365 environment. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can ensure the smooth operation of our Microsoft 365 services, including but not limited to Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Experience with security operations platforms such as Arctic Wolf is highly desirable, particularly in enhancing threat detection and response across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the Microsoft 365 environment, ensuring optimal performance and availability.

  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for Microsoft 365-related issues, escalating as necessary.

  • Monitor system performance and usage to maintain a secure and efficient environment.

  • Implement and manage security measures, including data loss prevention, information protection, and threat management.

  • Leverage Arctic Wolf s Managed Detection and Response (MDR) platform to enhance security visibility and incident response across Microsoft 365 services.

  • Monitor security alerts and threat intelligence from Arctic Wolf to proactively identify and mitigate risks.

  • Configure and manage Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, and other Microsoft 365 services.

  • Perform regular updates and patches to the Microsoft 365 platform.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, policies, and procedures.

  • Manage user accounts, licenses, and group policies within the Microsoft 365 environment.

  • Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring seamless transitions for employees.

  • Conduct training sessions and create user guides to enhance user proficiency and adoption of Microsoft 365 tools.

  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to align Microsoft 365 capabilities with business needs.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide appropriate solutions.

  • Stay current with Microsoft 365 developments and industry best practices to ensure the organization leverages the latest features and improvements.

  • Work closely with Arctic Wolf and other security partners to coordinate remediation efforts and maintain compliance with security policies.

  • Lead or participate in projects related to the deployment and enhancement of Microsoft 365 services.

  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as needed.

  • Ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT administration, with at least 3 years focused on Microsoft 365.

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or equivalent certification preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business.

  • Experience with Arctic Wolf or similar Managed Detection and Response (MDR) platforms, especially in securing Microsoft 365 environments.

  • Familiarity with threat monitoring, SIEM integrations, and security incident response using Arctic Wolf.

  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
