Overview
This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following location(s): Minnesota
The position is responsible for planning, developing, publishing, and managing strategic digital marketing content campaigns that drive revenue and sales referrals in alignment with Bank goals and objectives. Supports one or more lines of business products and service launches and enhancements with clear and concise content that resonates with users across the Bank's websites and digital media. Provides conceptual content ideas and produces content assets to attract and compel engagement and conversion from customers and prospects across earned, owned, and paid platforms. Serves as a primary resource to business partners on digital standards and best practices. Ensures compliance with regulatory governance for all marketing initiatives. May lead less experienced strategists, providing guidance on specific projects.

Responsibilities
- Marketing and Content - Cultivate, develop and implement digital marketing content and campaigns targeted at driving traffic, engagement, conversions, retaining customers, and building brand awareness. Work with internal and external collaborators and creative resources to deliver content assets that reflect the Bank's brand positioning and voice. Tests and implements innovative and relevant methods of measuring content, campaigns, and tools. Conducts competitor assessments and best practices and provides analysis in support of projects.
- Marketing and Content Development and Execution - Often serves as the creative lead on content efforts to support Bank objectives. Performs content audits and gap analyses to ensure uniformity of content and its alignment with brand and business goals. Develops and implements content strategy. Employs analytics to monitor content and to develop reporting that shows performance against the plan. Researches and maintains a strong current knowledge of consumer and market trends and changing conditions to shift design and content focus accordingly.
- Project Management - Leads marketing projects focusing on content development, design, channel implementation and user experience that aligns with the Bank's goals and client-centered approaches. Develop and implement process improvement and standardization building on Adobe, Asana and Jira skills. May be responsible for creating and giving presentations in department meetings to propose new content ideas, discuss the progress of current campaigns and review the results of previous content campaigns. Monitors and maintains project timelines, budgets and other goals-ensuring all projects are completed on time and within business, program and budget constraints. Monitors and analyzes marketing expenses and sales promotions to determine overall cost-effectiveness.
- Collaboration - Works closely with design, Adobe, acquisition, line of business, and other teams to ensure adherence to Bank standards, specifications, and branding. Communicates with business segments to develop programs and ensure accuracy in all marketing and client-facing materials. Effectively manages the expectations of all audiences throughout Bank-sponsored communications. Values diverse inputs, voices, and perspectives to generate a more comprehensive and consumable output.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Digital, Information Technology or Marketing, or Interaction design OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Digital, Information Technology or Marketing, or Interaction design
Preferred:
- Current contractor/contingent worker for First Citizens Bank
- Preferred Area of Study: Marketing, Communications, HCI (Human Computer Interaction) or Interaction Design
- Preferred Area of Experience: Digital Banking or Financial Services Industry
Skill(s):
- Understanding of and familiarity with digital content, search engine optimization and email operations.
- Current and experienced knowledge of digital content, and marketing trends in the banking industry.
- Experience in leading Asana and familiarity with Adobe tech stack, including AJO.
- Ability to assess business opportunities and develop marketing and content strategies with a focus on delivering on bank goals.
- Ability to understand risk and compliance implications within marketing strategy projects and campaigns.
- Ability to utilize a customer-centric mindset and design approach.
