You Will:
- Work with integration engineers to identify, generate and implement test cases and verification criteria for a system under test.
- Work with test manager to configure test setups and test runs according to the test plan.
- Develop, plan and execute component and/ system level testing, document and report test results.
- Document and track issues as appropriate and participate in triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.
- Escalate issues as appropriate with various stakeholders.
- Develop test automation, automate test tools, generate and improve automation scripts.
- Collaborate with Controls teams, System Engineers, plan test activities, where required.
- Help identify gaps in requirements and work with the relevant engineers to update the requirement documents accordingly.
- Help with testing scalability for new and upcoming products.
- Support Hardware in Loop test teams to test features on vehicle to cover any gap.
- Participate in requirement review, case review and provide suggestions to improve the test case.
- Participate in test infrastructure development for upcoming programs to improve the test coverage.
- Own the test infrastructure and maintain it. And keep improving the test infrastructure to increase test scope and test automation.
- Good understanding of basic electronics to root cause any test infrastructure issues. A good candidate will not hesitate to use multimeter, oscilloscope and other electronic tools to root cause any test infrastructure issues.
- Participate in the design of a world-class engineering effort to bring electric vehicles to a new level of refinement.
Basic Requirements:
- 5+ years of automotive testing experience.
- Testing on vehicles, experience with vehicle instrumentation.
- Experience with CANoe, CANalyzer, Vehicle Spy, or similar tools to log/analyze vehicle bus data.
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as Automotive Ethernet, CAN, LIN, UDS, and related tools to measure and command signals, though scripting or otherwise.
- Working knowledge of electrified powertrains
- ASTQB/ISTQB certification is a plus.
- Proficiency with test case automation, Functional safety testing, CAPL scripting is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience with J1772, NACS, DIN70121, ISO15118 and GB/T 38775.
- 5+ years' experience working with High Voltage systems.
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid's equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
