Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field (Master s or certifications like FRM/CFA preferred).
3 5 years of experience in energy commodities trading or supply chain risk management.
Strong knowledge of commodity markets, trading instruments, and hedging techniques.
Advanced Excel and solid experience with VBA, SQL, and Python (preferred).
Familiarity with RightAngle and SAP is a plus.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Risk Analyst to support our energy commodities trading operations. This role is critical in evaluating and managing the company s market exposure, developing risk mitigation strategies, and supporting informed decision-making through quantitative analysis and market research.

Key Responsibilities

Risk Analysis & Monitoring: Analyze risks across the commodities portfolio including market volatility, supply chain dynamics, and geopolitical factors.
Reporting & Dashboards: Create dashboards, risk metrics, and regular reports to communicate risk exposure to stakeholders.
Market Research & Forecasting: Conduct in-depth research and build models to forecast price trends and risk scenarios.
Hedging Strategy Support: Partner with traders to design hedging strategies using derivatives (futures, options, swaps).
Compliance: Ensure all risk activities align with internal policies and external regulations.
Stress Testing: Perform scenario analysis and stress testing to assess potential impact of extreme market events.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with trading, operations, and executive teams to align risk strategies with business goals.
Tools & Technology: Use data analytics, risk software, and trading platforms to enhance visibility and control.
