DB2 z/OS Database Administrator

• 10 or more years of experience in DB2 z/OS Database Administration in production environments.
• Proficiency in DB2 12 for z/OS or higher.
• Experience with high availability (24x7) DB2 designs and techniques.
• Experience in DB2 performance monitoring and tuning.
• Experience with complex SQL coding and tuning.
• Experience with z/OS mainframe skills (TSO, ISPF, JCL).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Design and maintain DB2 applications for high availability and performance.
• Develop and implement 24x7 availability strategies and procedures.
• Perform DB2 administration functions, including SQL code reviews and security.
• Manage DB2 stored procedures, triggers, and referential integrity.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support and manage service requests.
• Evaluate and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on performance and tuning improvements.
