Manual/Automation Tester (Jr/Mid-Level)

Position Description
CGI Federal is looking for a Manual/Automation Tester with 2+ years of experience and has the ability to write code in Java, experience utilizing automated testing framework tool (e.g. Selenium, HP UFT, Subject7), experience with Jira, Jenkins, GitHub, and other DevOps pipeline tools.

***This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days onsite/week. Candidates should reside within 2 hours of Woodlawn, MD***

Your future duties and responsibilities
Provide customer service support for the Parasoft suite of tools, HP ALM and UFT, and the internal Enterprise Test Data Management System (ETDMS) that provisions test data across the SSA agency.
Provide primary support to end users requesting assistance with testing data requests, system access, etc., escalating requests to the next level of support when necessary.
Provide modern application testing support including administration and promotion of test automation and service virtualization tool usage.
Actively participate in test infrastructure analysis and planning for testing best practices and tools across the entire testing lifecycle from inception to implementation.
Perform manual tests and develop automated test scripts code for applications as assigned using customer defined standards and software engineering best practices.
Brief management, customer, team, or vendors using written or oral skills at an appropriate technical level for the audience.
Prepare or update documentation as needed.
All other duties as assigned or directed.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of related work experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement.
2+ years of experience developing automated test scripts
Experience with writing code in Java
Experience utilizing automated testing framework tool (e.g. Selenium, HP UFT, Subject7)
Experience with Jira, Jenkins, GitHub, and other DevOps pipeline tools
Strong knowledge of relational databases, DB2 and nonrelational mainframe storage technology
Excellent verbal and written communication and customer relations skills

Desired Skills:
Experience in using any of the Parasoft products - SOAtest, Selenic, CTP, Recorder, and/or virtualize.
Technical help desk/customer service experience.
Familiarity with maintaining Confluence sites.
Ability to independently research problems and provide solutions.
Experience with Z/OS Mainframe environment is an extra plus.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,300 - $105,500.
