LabVIEW and TestStand Developer

You will develop LabVIEW and TestStand code to automate the functional test systems we design and build for our customers. You will work closely with test engineers to develop, debug and verify test software on schedule and that meets all requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop LabVIEW and TestStand software applications for custom test stations to meet customer requirements.
• Create and maintain software architectures and frameworks
• Automate test sequences
• Control test instruments
• Communicate with the device under test
• Generate reports for test results data
• Work with software and hardware test engineers to automate custom test stations.
• Debug, troubleshoot and verify test stations.
• Write technical documentation including specs, verification procedures and operating procedures
• Install test systems at the customer sites and at their manufacturing facilities.
• Work with customers for code reviews and debug sessions
• Engage with Sales to support quoting opportunities

Desired Skills & Experience

• 3+ years LabVIEW and TestStand work preferably on production test applications
• NI LabVIEW and/or TestStand certification a big plus
• Python experience a plus
• Working knowledge of test equipment and digital communication protocols
• Proven debug and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and self-managing
• Eager to learn new technologies and processes
• Able to travel globally 10-15%
• BSCS, BSEE or similar field of study
