Overview
The Technical Program Manager leads enterprise-wide cybersecurity initiatives with a primary focus on vulnerability management. This role spans technical, operational, and strategic functions to ensure systems and applications remain secure, compliant, and resilient.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute the vulnerability management roadmap, governance models, and secure development practices.
- Oversee vulnerability assessments and remediation across infrastructure, applications, and third-party ecosystems.
- Ensure adherence to internal security policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive cross-functional coordination to prioritize, track, and resolve systemic vulnerabilities.
Stakeholder Engagement & Liaison Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between cybersecurity, engineering, IT operations, and business units to align priorities and ensure clear communication.
- Translate technical risks into business impact and provide actionable guidance to leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide executive-level briefings on risk posture, remediation progress, and program performance.
- Lead training and workshops to elevate organizational awareness of vulnerability management and secure coding practices.
Metrics & Reporting
- Define and track KPIs such as remediation SLAs, vulnerability aging, risk scoring trends, and program maturity indicators.
- Develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms tailored for both technical and business audiences.
- Continuously assess program effectiveness and recommend improvements based on measurable outcomes and threat landscape changes.
Qualifications
- 8 - 10+ years of proven program management experience in cybersecurity or vulnerability management.
- Strong understanding of vulnerability management tools, processes, and lifecycle.
- Familiarity with industry frameworks and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
