Business Intelligence Services Utilities Industry (Water/Power)
Location: Entire Southern California
Duration: Long Term
1. Enhancements to existing & development of new processes applicable to: a. Cognos Analytics reports and dashboards (includes Transformer, Framework Manager, Data Modules, etc.);
b. Alteryx workflows and analytics (includes Designer, Intelligence Suite, etc.);
c. Power BI workflows and analytics (Desktop, Report Server, Mobile, etc.);
d. Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) jobs related to IBM Datastage, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Azure Data Factory (ADF) & Procedural Language extensions to the Structured Query Language (PL/SQL) and Transact Structures Query Language (T-SQL) data load processes;
e. Datamart & Datawarehouse components originated from changes to business & technical processes.
c. Power BI workflows and analytics (Desktop, Report Server, Mobile, etc.);
d. Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) jobs related to IBM Datastage, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Azure Data Factory (ADF) & Procedural Language extensions to the Structured Query Language (PL/SQL) and Transact Structures Query Language (T-SQL) data load processes;
e. Datamart & Datawarehouse components originated from changes to business & technical processes.
2. Routine upgrade of IBM DataStage, Microsoft SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Cognos Analytics, Alteryx & Microsoft Power BI systems to latest versions.
3. Configure & Implement Cognos Analytics, Alteryx & Power BI mobile features, wherever applicable.
4. Install, configure, and setup new Business Intelligence tools acquired by Metropolitan, wherever applicable.
5. Documentation of enhancements/changes, new features & functionalities, impact analysis, design & development artifacts, testing artifacts & deployment instructions as per Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for any of the in-scope components.
6. Project management for implementation of all services provided.
7. Transfer of knowledge to Metropolitan staff for any and all changes & implemented new features & functionalities. Applies to both business and technical teams at Metropolitan.

1. Development of iOS and Android native/hybrid app using JDeveloper, Java, Javascript, XML,
CSS3, HTML5, XCode, Android SDK, SQLite, SWIFT and/or a widely supported framework (e.g. React Native, Sencha, Telerik Platform, PhoneGap/Cordova, etc.).
